Deposit Roll will show the registered number of each

depositor and the sun received, and with every firet deposit

the names and. addresses of the two lers tees in China will be

shewn opposite the Coolie's registered number in the column

provided for the purpose. Each sheet of Deposit Roll will

be totalled and riven a separate consecutive number. Sach

sheet to be signed at the foot by the Officer receiving the

deposits, and witnessed by two officers or one officer and

one N.0.0., who will sign each sheet rs "Witness to Deposits",

6. Deposit Rolle must be made out in triplicate, and when

completed the originals and duplicates will be handed, tore ther

with the total cash received, to the nearest cashier of the

Army Bay Department by the 0.0. Company, or the Officer

representing nim. The Cashier's receipt for the money will be

attached to the triplicate copy of Deposit 2011, which will be

gent monthly to Officer i, Chinese Records and filed. hen

there is more than one sheet of Deposit Rolls, the totals of

each sheet will be summarised on the last one to show the total

handed to the Cashier.

7. The Staff Faymaster will remit the total amunt received every month from the Chinese Labour Corps, to the far office, accompanied by the Deposit Rolls.

Labourers will be identified by means of Thumb Frints at an Identification Office, which will be established at the rort of isembarcation in China, where the depositors or levatees will receive the total of their deposits in one Bum with interest at £ from the date of deposit. No deposits

will be paid out except in China, in the manner and at the place described.
